On 16 October, pumping station Grote Polder was commissioned together with specialists from Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland. The original station was outdated; apart from the building, everything was replaced or overhauled. The water authority added a fish passage for fish migration and water quality. The new screw pump was supplied by Landustrie, the travelling screen was overhauled by Machinefabriek Bosker en Zonen B.V., and the fish passage by AVK and Hidrostal Group. Commissioned by Schouls BV, Kadiks delivered the full electrical installation.
